Advertiser Restrictions

The American Physical Therapy Association(APTA) and APTA Washington, a Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association (the Chapter) opposes participation in services linked to the financial gain of the referral source. Because of this policy, APTA Washington and this site does not accept marketing revenue from a practice if any referring practitioner has a financial interest in the physical therapy practice and refers patients to an employed physical therapist or to a physical therapist who supervises an employed physical therapist assistant.

Violation of the financial gain advertiser restriction will result in cancellation of any advertisement will all cancellation financial penalties applying.

Advertising Conditions

Cancellations: Web ads cancelled after they have been posted will receive a pro-rated refund less a $35 service charge. Only the unused portion of a per issue e-newsletter ad order can be cancelled. A pro-rated refund less a $35 service charge will be applied.

Rate and Fee Changes: Rates and fees may change without notice. Applicable pricing will be reflected online at the time of ordering.

Web Classified Advertising: We typically post web advertisements within two working days of receipt of ad copy and payment, and group them according to category (e.g. Employment, For Sale, Education, Products and Services). All web ads are posted classified-style (i.e. text only) and correspond with our graphic style. APTA Washington is not responsible for mistakes, typos, or other errors in ad copy if they appear in submitted copy.

E-Newsletter Banner Advertising: A maximum of two ads are included in each issue. Purchased ads will appear in the next available issue. Ads are placed between newsletter stories and/or at the bottom above the footer. Placement is based on space availability and at the discretion of staff. All paid advertisements include an “Advertisement” tag above the ad. Also included with the ad is a link to the landing page of your choice.

Policies: Advertising must conform with the ethical standards and policies of the American Physical Therapy Association and APTA Washington. chapter staff reserves the right to decline any advertisement considered contrary or conflicting with APTA or the Chapter’s policy or purpose. An advertisement appearing in chapter publications does not imply or constitute endorsement of those products, services, or employer by the Chapter.

Auto Renew: By selecting Auto Renew, the advertiser agrees to allow APTA Washington to charge the price of the advertisement to the credit card on this order form on the renewal date each month until the advertiser cancels the advertisement.

Auto Renew Cancellation: The standard cancellation fee of $35 applies to the first month (prior to renewal). For subsequent months, cancel by the renewal or deadline date and you will not be charged. Cancellations of web ads received after the renewal date will receive a prorated refund less a $35 processing fee.

Terms of Use

This Terms and Conditions of Use agreement ("Usage Agreement") will form a binding contract between you (or the company you are acting on behalf of, either "You" or "Your") and APTA Washington governing Your use of our website and Career Centers.

Read this Usage Agreement carefully. You are agreeing to be contractually bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this Usage Agreement. If you do not agree with any of the terms and conditions stated in this Usage Agreement, do not use this website or any associated services.

Postings/Submissions

This site makes no guarantees as to the level of success a user may achieve by using this site or its services. Certain third-party partners may make such performance guarantees with the approval of the company. Otherwise, You shall not be entitled to any refund, rebate or retribution for usage that You determine to be unsuccessful.

APTA Washington makes no guarantee that Your posting(s) will be accessible for the entire term of its listing. Computer outages, software failure and other technical and non-technical issues may cause temporary outages that the chapter cannot be held liable for.

No party may upload any offensive or hurtful items or hyperlinks to offensive or hurtful materials. Additionally, no items may be uploaded that are designed to damage the systems (ex. Viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, etc.) or designed to crack the system or extract protected data.

Security

You may not access, collect, record, alter or interfere with account data that does not belong to You. Any attempts or successes at violating another user's data or privacy shall result in breach of this usage agreement and may result in criminal or civil proceedings.

Specific Prohibited Uses

This site or its services may not be used for any illegal or unlawful purposes. APTA Washington reserves the right to terminate usage by any party that the Chapter deems questionable.

No party may enter data that is knowingly inaccurate, incomplete, or false.

No party may enter data that does not belong to them. You may not enter data for another user. This shall include, but not be limited to, the listing of job opportunities. You may not post job openings that are not for Your company. The only exception to this is if You represent an ad agency, recruitment firm, or another third-party recruitment service, with permission to post on a company's behalf.

No party may maintain an excessive amount of data on the Chapter servers or upload anything that may cause excessive strain on the Chapter systems and networks.

No party may use the services available on the Career Center for any purpose other than their intended uses. This shall include, but not be limited to, the practice of posting openings that do not specifically exist for the purpose of collecting resumes or other data from our users. This practice is explicitly restricted and may result in cancellation of Your posting and removal of Your usage rights.

No party may use our services with the intent of hurting, damaging, destroying, or otherwise infringing on the stability and usefulness of the Chapter services.

No party may distribute what the Chapter defines as protected materials to any third party. This may include contact data, passwords, discounts, etc. This includes the sharing of protected data with other site users. No party may utilize data from the website to bypass the site's security and extract protected data from outside sources.

APTA Washington reserves the right to alter, edit, or remove any data posted.

No party may aggregate, package, spider, collect, display any of the content on this site without the express written consent of the Chapter.

Copyrights and Trademarks

You may only download and maintain single copies of designated materials for Your personal use only or as directed in any separate partnership/affiliate agreement with APTA Washington. The Chapter maintains all other rights and copyrights. All material not designated remains the sole property of the Chapter is subject to copyright protection.

In addition, trademarks and trade dress belonging to the Chapter or to others appear on or are accessible through the Career Center. The fact that the Chapter has permitted You access to this Career Center does not constitute authorization to reproduce the Chapter or any other trademarks or trade dress for any other purpose.

By submitting any material to the Chapter, such as posting a comment to a discussion group, or by sending the Chapter an email, You are thereby granting to the Chapter a non-exclusive, royalty free, license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, modify and create derivative works from such material and market the fact You were the author of such material.

Disclaimers and Limitations of Warranties

APTA Washington makes no guarantees as to the accuracy or truthfulness of any data posted on the Career Center. Any damage You incur by Your reliance upon this information is not the responsibility of the Chapter or its affiliates or partners. By using this Career Center, You assume all responsibility for and risk arising from Your use of and reliance upon the contents of this Career Center.

References and links to products and services belonging to third parties are provided for Your convenience and do not represent an endorsement by the Chapter of such products or services. Materials accessible from or added to this Career Center site by third parties, including, though not limited to, job listings or comments posted in discussion groups, are strictly the responsibility of the third party who added such materials or made them accessible. While the Chapter reserves the right to monitor third-party discussions and to remove materials that the Chapter believes are inappropriate. APTA neither endorses nor undertakes to control, monitor, edit or assume responsibility for any such third-party material.

Liability Limitation

APTA Washington's liability for all claims arising from your use of the site and its contents is limited to $125.

Termination of Career Center and Career Center Access

APTA Washington reserves the right to change the contents of this site or to discontinue it at any time, as well as the right to deny access to the site to any person whom the Chapter has reasonable grounds to believe may be using the Career Center for an unlawful or unauthorized purpose or in a manner that may harm the Chapter or any other third party.
